Lithos is a private mineral vault in your pocket: rare crystals, gems and meteorites in tactile 3D, ready to be cleaned, studied and displayed. No internet. No ads.
Rotate and inspect curated specimens. Study fracture lines, crystal structure and optical character up close.
Brush and polish raw stones while CoreHaptics feedback lets you feel every stroke reveal hidden inner fire.
Move interactive light sources to test refraction, then read formulas, facts and historical origins.
Lay your device flat and let a favorite crystal turn slowly under soft gallery lighting.
💎 We are a small team of collectors, geology fans and designers who kept wishing a mineral cabinet could fit in a pocket. Lithos is that cabinet, built with care for people who love stones.
🧭 Our mission is to make the Earth's quiet treasures feel close: to let anyone discover, clean and showcase crystals, gems and meteorites without a museum ticket or a rock hammer.
🔬 Inside you can turn each specimen in 3D, polish it with responsive haptics, play with light to watch refraction, and learn the formulas and origins behind every piece, all offline, with no ads.
🪨 Lithos: small stones, long stories.
Lithos is built to be a quiet, private place. This policy explains, in plain words, that the app does not collect, store or share any data about you.
None. Lithos does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos, and it does not gather usage statistics. Browsing specimens, cleaning stones and using the light lab all happen without producing any data for us.
Because we hold no information, we cannot use it. We do not analyze your behavior, build profiles, serve targeted content or sell anything to anyone.
Anything the app needs, such as which specimens you have cleaned or your display preferences, lives only on your device. There is no cloud, no server and no sync service on our side.
Lithos contains no third-party analytics, advertising networks, trackers or social plug-ins. It works with zero internet access, so nothing is sent out in the background.
Since everything runs locally inside the iOS app sandbox, your collection is protected by the security features of your device. Haptic feedback and 3D rendering use on-device system frameworks only.
Lithos is friendly to young explorers. We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, in line with the spirit of COPPA. There are no accounts, chats or ads.
There are no accounts to close and nothing to request from us. To remove everything the app has stored, simply delete Lithos from your device.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Our commitment to local, data-free operation is not expected to change.
